NUTMEG STATE MARATHON
Hartford, Connecticut

Thursday May 23, 2013 - 6am Start

Twelve laps of 2.08 miles, plus 1.24 Miles at start

This race will be held at Goodwin Park which is a large park, on US Hwy #5, near the southern city limit of Hartford. We will park on the North end of the parking lot (North of golfing building). This course is about 80 miles from Warwick, R.I. There is a golf course in the interior of the park and golf cart paths do cross our running path which is asphalt except for about 1/2 mile of dirt (see map). Please give golf carts the right-of-way.

There are 12 laps plus 1.24 miles (which we will do at the start). There is one air station at the start/finish. Race officials will keep track of the number of laps done. We will be set up about 5am. There will be one Aid Station at the Start/Finish line.

Directions: This course is about 80 miles from Warwick, RI. Take I-95 South from Warwick and turn onto Hwy 2 to drive to Hartford, CT.
